        • SYNOPSIS

Gisela is 30, lives with her parents in modest circumstances, and works at a wallpaper factory. She is no different from countless other young women in West Germany in the 1960s. But Gisela has a dream: she wants to see Capri. When she falls in love with Hermann, it finally seems within reach. Hermann is a cab driver and bank robber. One day he takes Gisela on a bank heist. She proves to be very gifted. So starts her secret life as the "Bank Lady". She is transformed from a shy wallflower into a robber queen who always remains polite and avoids bloodshed. Based on the true story of Gisela Werler, Germany's first woman bank robber.
