The 42th FEST has started!

The 42th FEST started this evening in a packed Sava Centre. The Festival was opened by the long awaited domestic film So hot was the cannon op je bio vreo and its director Boban Skerlic.

Skerlic told the audience, "I sincerely believe that art makes people better and that each step towards art constitutes a step towards improving oneself, which means that FEST is a gathering place of better people. In a society that is systemically dumbed down, where culture, science and education are being marginalized, each such step represents an exploit. I congratulate you for standing out and happy new FEST".

FEST has prepared a special surprise for the audience this year - the opportunity to attend in person the performance of drawing in the sand. Artist Marica Kicusic from the Sand pro studio has prepared an interesting depiction of certain films that were screened on the festival from its inception - M.A.S.H, High heels, Apocalypse now, Amarcord, Wings of desire, A space of Odyssey and others, as well as the film hall and the audience, as the most important part of the Festival.

We hereby want to inform you that, due to a large interest of the audience, the film Nymphomanic will be screened for the second time in the program FEST na bis on March 10, at 10 PM in Dom Sindikata.
